How do I burn audio discs with Windows Media Player?
My wife and I have used Audacity to mix some audio files of instruction need to burn to CD in a format that can be read by a house or car CD player and a computer. How can we make WAV or MP3 files to a format that can be read by a simple CD player? Thanks for responding to what is undoubtedly a very simply question.
go to microsoft.com and say the latest version of WMP .. 10.xi believe should be .. maybe 11 .. Just get the last .. go to the "burning" tab and you should be able to simply drag and drop files .. WMP will automatically convert the files into the correct format .wav/.mp3 i still recommend some 3rd party software such as burning is much more efficient .. WMP takes at least 1/3rd longer to burn as Nero or Roxio .. edit – Also, make sure it is configured to record audio CDs .. click the right of the "burning" tab and make sure cd "audio" is selected and not "Data CD" Hope this helps!
