Creative Mp3 Player 8gb
Looking to buy a decent durable 8GB mp3 player out there without radio/video features on it?
I’ve googled my fingers to death trying to find a very sturdy, durable, dependable 8GB mp3 player that costs around $70 to $100. Since I will never ever be able to afford and Ipod…..other than epinions.com & cnet.com to check for name brands & their reviews where else can I find good reviews?
What is the best 8GB mp3player out there without radio/video features on it? Is it Sans Disk, Creative Zen, Zune (are there any others than these brands & the almighty Ipod ~LoL~)
….which is the top of the line Mp3 player that is 8GB that can play almost any type of music file especially wma and I am looking for a mp3 player WITH NO FM RADIO & NO VIDEO oriented features on it….just a plain *GB music player that can take at least 3,000 songs on it or so …..

Well, with that much storage capacity, I don’t know of a player that doesn’t have at least an fm radio in it, but you can always not use that feature. Check out the 8GB model of the Sandisk Sansa Clip. It can play audio files in MP3, OGG, FLAC, WMA, protected WMA, and Audible formats. It doesn’t have any video features, just a bright OLED screen which displays track and album information and helps you navigate through your library. It does have an FM tuner in it, but I haven’t seen a player over 2GB that doesn’t. I have the 2GB version of this player, and it seems really durable, has great sound quality, and is super easy to use. The 8GB model retails for $99.

There is also a newer player from Sandisk which has no screen or internal memory, but will play music off of micro SD cards. It supports high capacity micro SD card, so you can get up to 16GB of music on there at a time depending on the card you have. It has no radio or video functions either, just whatever music you keep on the card. I haven’t seen one in person, so I don’t know how durable or easy to use they are, but they are cheap, $20 for the player itself plus the cost of the micro SD card.
